Virtual Student Council Election and Declaration

The Eminence school council comprises of a Head boy, Head girl, Literary and Cultural Captains for grade 8, Sports captains (Boy and Girl) for grade 7 And Prefects (Boy and girl) for grade 6. Virtual elections were conducted to nominate the aforementioned student leaders for the academic year 2020-21. The process started with opening the nominations on 24th June, where the interested students filled an online nomination form before the deadline 26th June. Around 33 students participated and after a thorough screening by the academic leaders, the final candidates were selected. The candidates then campaigned during online classes on 29th June to garner more voters. The candidates presented a very innovative and impressive campaign. An online election was conducted on 30th June; where students were asked to cast their votes and the results were compiled to elect the school council under the abled supervision of the event coordinator and school administrators. The elected candidates were then announced during the ceremony held on 1st July in the presence of CEO, Mr. Harish, principal and vice-principal with grades 6 through 8 as audience for the programs. The results for the remaining classes were announced the respective class teacher during the ceremony.
